15:15, I was already starting to get lost. First, the pointer seemed to be changed with hot keys, secondly, whenever I create a midi track, it just loops if I make it longer than one bar

Any way to do this to an existing set of tracks. Driving me nuts - I want to apply the universal Logic gradient to all my tracks, which are currently all over the place..

Thank you so much for this. I had FL Studios for the longest time on my desktop and had a friend that had Logic. I watched videos to learn it but couldn't hold on to it. I decided to buy this instead since my friend would be able to help me first hand but this also helped so much. Logic seems so much easier to use and get used to as a beginner. And having it on the laptop is just way more convenient. Thank you for helping us out!

My writing usually starts with the instrument - guitar - just going over some chord progressions and coming up with the melody as I play the chords. I have always found daunting the process of using a DAW to write songs, until now. Your clear and detailed teaching style is amazing! I am now able to start and finish my own songs in Logic! Hi there just starting this video and I have to process each step, I did step 1, 2 I haven't yet cause its late but I DO have external hard drives to upload al the samples. too HOWEVER, You said the 3 step section Advanced Settings is one of the most important steps but when I personally click Logic Pro - On the drop down menu does not have the "Preferences" Under "About Logic Pro" as you are showing. So I have no idea how to get to the same screen you are showing in the video. I'm stuck here for now when it comes to the steps needed.

I love this videos and I hope to be coming back to learn more from it. Music production has always been something I want to do and I’m glad for this knowledge I’m getting on here.

Hey, I’m trying to record drum tracks that I made on logic to my 4-track cassette recorder. I have a digital to analog converter, but I can’t get it to work. Does anyone know how to route the logic track out to my 4-track? Currently the music is just coming out my laptop speakers. Thank you.
